“The federal government’s biggest attack on economic inequality!” Now did you filthy-rich people out there really think you could get away with making more money than poor people forever? Duh-h. If you were so dumb as to think that, stop thinking. The NYT has just given you notice that their friend Barack Obama, Daddy-O, is on the attack, an’ you ain’t gonna get by with it any more!!!
And then The Times of India reports: “A former FBI translator has claimed that the US was on ‘intimate’ terms with the Taliban and al-Qaida and used the militants to further certain goals in central Asia… Sibel Edmonds on Friday speaking on the radio program, the Mike Malloy Show. Sibel said the US maintained ‘intimate relations’ with bin Laden, and the Taliban, “all the way until that day of September 11.”
Duh-h. Did nobody read Charlie Wilson’s War, or see the movie starring Tom Hanks? How a wild and crazy Texas Congressman single-handedly won the Afghan war against the Soviet Union? He secretly used U.S. gummit money to buy serious weapons for the same people the Indian paper is talking about!
Then the Washington Post chimes in on pot… weed. And what would Washington know of such? Remember, they’re not allowed to inhale up there. But they’re trying to change that. And looking to California for advice. Duh-h… Where else?
And they report: “Los Angeles imposed strict limits on medical marijuana shops this year after hundreds of them popped up with little government oversight. Colorado is still wrestling with how to ensure legitimate doctor-patient relationships after the number of people applying to use medical marijuana surged dramatically in a six-month period.”(2)
Little government oversight?! Well, we get this here medical marajuana stuff in D.C., we’ll sure correct that government oversight problem. I mean government has done such a bang-up job of controlling drugs so far, we’ll sure take care of that little issue. California’ll be learnin’ a lot from us’ns” Won’t they Daddy-O?
